Eight Lives Left

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): This would be a good week for you to tell people’s fortunes at parties and help the police solve crimes with your clairvoyant abilities and read the minds of those you love in order to communicate with them better. What? You say you don’t have any psychic powers? That’s a dirty lie! You most certainly do. It may be true that your culture has brainwashed you into denying and suppressing them. But I assure you that they are lying there half-dormant, just waiting for you to believe in them and use them for everyone’s benefit. And this is an ideal time, astrologically speaking, for you to do just that.

I wish we could read minds! It’s true, though, that we do better when we listen to our intuition. We’re not often too far off, if only we bother to pay attention.

So today we got the best Christmas present ever, from L/L. It’s something we’ve been wanting since we were 13, or maybe even earlier, and have never had.

A Victorian dollhouse!

It’s beautiful. Tel just finished putting it together and we’re surfing websites for doll furniture now. I can’t tell you how excited the kids are. It’s bounce city in here. We need to buy a table to put it on, too, something not too expensive and easy to put chairs next to because this dollhouse is going to get PLAYED WITH. A lot.

I just turned in my first assignment for this current class, only a few hours late. (It was due last night but I asked for an extension from the professor since other things were going on.) There are nine assignments left for this class and ten for the next and then I’m done. We are getting progressively more and more burnt out as we work our way to the end of this second degree. At least this class looks like it’s going to be not too difficult, especially after the previous class. When it comes to designing an online e-commerce portal, I feel like I have a pretty good grip on what needs to be covered and what’s important for having a secure website.

Man, I hope I get a decent small group this time around, for the group project. I hope there’s someone willing to lead so I don’t have to!
