They can do anything these days!

Today was ok. We got some work done and some packages put together and made a run to the Post Office. We also joined SwapaCD and SwapaDVD, which are sister sites to PaperbackSwap.com. We’ve already shipped off three DVDs, and we have three CDs waiting to go tomorrow. The nice thing about it is the credits you earn can be used among all three sites, so while I’m getting rid of DVDs and CDs I don’t want, that translates into credits for books I do want. The innernet is a wunnerful place.

We have all of L/L’s presents for Christmas together, so I think tomorrow I’ll finish the packaging and then get it mailed off to them. It’s a little early, but you can’t ever really tell what the Canadian Post Office is going to do with things so better safe than sorry. That package they lost at the beginning of this year never did show up. Meh. I need to replace those Fables graphic novels. We really enjoyed them, and I think Lynn would, too.

What else? Nothing much. Friday night we’re going to watch a movie with my sister at her house, after I bring my nephew home from school. That means I’ll have to get my schoolwork done tomorrow night, which is fine. I did a little browsing for dollhouse furniture today, but as with most things, we have like the good stuff, which means expensive. I think what we’ll do is buy the basic furniture and accessories that go with the Melissa and Doug Victorian dollhouse, and then upgrade by bits and pieces. There is so much beautiful stuff out there! This is going to be a nice way to start collecting dollhouse furniture. First things first, though - I need to find a table to keep the dollhouse on. It can’t stay on the coffee table; it’s not safe there. I think I’ll head out to the Goodwill this weekend and see if they have a cheap table that will do. I can buy a cloth to put over it if necessary. I can also check at one of the box stores.

*yawn* We’re sleepy for some reason. Going to bed with kitties will be nice.
