Makes sense to me…but only because I have rabbits and gut flora is really important…not to mention they reingest there cecal pellets (looks like poo, smells like poo. comes out the same place!) as part of their digestive process, and when a bun is sick adn can’t get his own sometimes it is recommended to feed them the cecals of another rabbit. Babies buns also eat their mom’s cecals. Gives them the gut flora they need! TMI?
