Here’s how it works:

1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.

My eight random facts (damn, this is going to be hard):

1. I played bassoon for seven years, the last four in a full symphony.
2. I lettered in fencing (foil) in high school.
3. I believe in faeries.
4. My pile of to-be-read books is taller than I am (I’m 5′5″).
5. I read about 625 words a minute (according to mindbluff.com).
6. I adore kitties. I can’t imagine living without a cat, or two, or three.
7. I wish I could be a writer, but I don’t think I have that particular talent.
8. I enjoy visiting places where disasters have occurred.
