Nighty night

Ok, tonight’s paper is done and turned in and I only have three to go this week. I’ll try to do one each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so that I can have it all turned in before I leave for Christmas. I called the kitty sitter today and that’s all scheduled for next week.

My EIGHTEEN BOOKS from Amazon will start showing up tomorrow. I’m very excited. :) I’ll have to figure out what I’m bringing with me to read on the trip. Something long and juicy, or two or three somethings. Sometimes I wish we didn’t read quite so hellaciously fast. I’ll have an extra suitcase full of presents anyway, so I can pack a couple of books in there to have in reserve.

Ok, we should brush and floss our teeth (we’re very good about it now!) and then toddle off to bed. Beloveds already went to bed because they were tired, poor sweeties.

G’night!

SQT: What the holidays mean to you

What The Holidays Mean to You

For you, the holidays are about emotional connections and bonds. You are happiest being around those you love.

You celebrate the holidays in a offbeat style. You believe the holidays are for doing whatever you feel like - and some of your “traditions” are pretty wacky.

During the holidays, you like to feel cozy and comfortable. You’re happy to stay inside with a roaring fire and a warm drink.

You think the holidays should be nostalgic and sweet. The holidays bring out your inner child.

Your favorite holiday memories are complete and very visual. Past holiday events play out like a video in your mind.

Meh

I have to do schoolwork and I just don’ wanna. I’m having trouble getting my head together. We went out and ran errands twice today - the first time to go to the Post Office and put gas in the Jeep and pick up lunch, and the second time to run to the Post Office and go to the Staples for a new Record Book to use for work next year. I like to buy the Record Books that businesses use for keeping entries and such, because they’re really well-made and exactly the right size. Of course they also cost $20 a pop, but one book lasts me a whole year so that’s ok.

The Post Office was PACKED, but it worked out because I only had to go through the little drivethrough part to drop something in the mailbox both times. I’m going to avoid actually going INTO the Post Office until after the holidays. I got two mix-CDs in the mail today, one through my mail exchange site and one through the Alphalist thing I had posted a couple of weeks ago. That makes three total I have so far that I need to add to my iTunes.

We’ll be leaving for Baton Rouge on Sunday the 23rd and coming back on Thursday the 27th. That’s a nice short trip so I’m pleased about that. I even have to work from my parents’ house on the 24th so that gives me a reason to not be around much. Hopefully nothing will happen to stress me out this year.

La la la. I’d better go write this paper.
