I took today off from work because so much was going on. I didn’t get to sleep in, though, because today was a cleaning service day and I can never be sure when they’ll show up, so I had to get up at my regular time and get ready.
We spent some time chatting with L/L online and then drove to my realtor’s office to sign the paperwork on the offer. It was a lot of paperwork but I understood it all and felt comfortable signing it. Now I’m just waiting to hear if they’ll say yes, no, or try to negotiate.
After doing all of that we went and had lunch at Subway since there was some time to kill before picking up my nephew from his school. We got him, drove to DC, and then had dinner with our sister until it was time to go pick up my brother-in-law at his work so we could go to the Eddie Izzard show. It was very funny and a lot of fun, but the drive back home was long!
Now we’re here and trying to wind down before going to bed. Tomorrow is sleeping in and seeing L/L and not doing much of anything other than play WoW and think about condos. I’m not sure what’s going on for Sunday yet, if anything. Maybe some gaming in the afternoon, and definitely seeing L/L in the evening.
The offer I put in was for 185k plus the seller paying 5k towards closing costs. It would be very very cool if they took that, but I’m sure they won’t. We’ll have to see.
It is all still very scary!
